LCIRISC system was developed to address detection, measurement, and classification of interface voids in bonded wafer pairs.

Interface voids produce unique signatures from the additional reflections from the interface void surfaces.  Low coherence interferometry allows the optical path difference (OPD) between reflections to be quantified.
